Day 94 of my 108 days Journey challenge to intensely appreciate life.

What do I intensely appreciate today?

My sister in law is pregnant with her 10th child.
She is glowing and serving us all, a dinner in her last week of pregnancy while holding her baby and laughing with her other children, who are enjoying the little gifts they got.
Amazing!
“I could not do that,” I think to myself.
She comes from a family of 12 and for her having a big family of children that are brought up to live in light and service, is her dream. A family is everything.

I enjoy also the labor of my grandmothers is raising big families. I love all of my 10 aunts and 4 uncles and I feel very lucky to have such a big tribe of cousins and nephews.
My extended family was my biggest joy as a child, they are all colorful, talented and loving.
It gave us the feeling that we are raised by a whole village and not only our patents.

All extended families have all kind of people in it. All families have amazing members and members we are not so proud of, but that is all in the good mix.

So my intense appreciation today is to all of my extended family and to all extended families that find a way to get along and help each other.
Intense appreciation to aunts and uncles, cousins and nephews everywhere that keep the family beating heart together.

What do I need to intensely accept about today?

I need to accept that we are losing the sense of tribe and community.

Have I done my Meditation today?

I wrote to songs today. that is meditation for me 🙂

What have I learned today?

I can contain all aspect of myself and stay in peace and centered.

A question to you: What do you love the most about your extended family? How can you let them enrich your life?
