Day 106 – Craft and Abundance

Ahuva zarian design Day 106 of my 108 days Journey challenge to intensely appreciate life.

What do I intensely appreciate today?

Unpacking my bags after visiting my family I feel so rich and so inspired. I have bags of spices, herbs from the garden, seeds from 3 beautiful trees (one lemon tree) and 2 two kinds of bushes, one of them was my grandmother signature smell as she always had a green bouquet behind her ear: it is called Yemenite Basil.
I have 4 albums of the best music, books and Indian sauces, handmade cookies from my mother and pecan nuts from her tree and products from the dead sea.

On top of all this richness from the land, I have also a lot of inspiration from the creations of my mother and my aunts. A lot of paintings, jewelry and embroidery work.

I INTENSELY APPRECIATE the creativity and the art of women and especially the women of my family and I love all craft work and art.

What do I need to intensely accept about today?

I need to accept today my brain can’t focus as normal. Full moon or not I accept.

Am I intensely loyal to myself?

Today, yes, I was kind and supportive of myself. I hope I will stick to this good behavior.

What have I learned today?

Craft and crafting, painting, illustrating and even sawing make me happy. As I define my business now, I must integrate my craft in it. No sporadic, compulsive creations that hang in my house and studio. I have a way to integrate it in my next projects.

A question for you: Do you enjoy a craft or creating art? do you appreciate this talent in others?

The challenge questions are:
Try it for 7 days :-)
